 Nick, it should work fine if you use this Portfile - download it somewhere
 and enter
 `port -s -F py-weasyprint.Portfile install -- subport=py27-weasyprint`

 Assuming this installs without problems, then you will need to reinstall
 Pango patching the Portfile as per the linked ticket and you should be
 good to go.
