 Thank you for your suggestions, I'll try moving my /opt/local away and
 start with a fresh install issuing the +debug and +no_x11 variants. I
 tried launching from command line already but it didn't reveal anything
 new, but who knows, maybe the debug flag helps ;-). I won't be able to do
 it until next week. I Will report back to you then.
