Comment:

 There are a few problems with the patch.
  - All of the python variants are named "python" but they should be named
 "python26", "python27", etc.
  - The variants should all conflict with each other and only allow one to
 be selected.
  - Configure argument(s) with the path to the python library need to be
 added so it picks up the desired version of python and not a different
 version.
