Comment:

 There is an existing ace 6.0.8 port (recently renamed from libACE). There
 is also a tao (ace+tao) port on the way.

 $ sudo port install ace
 }}}

 If the ace port fails to build please open a new ticket with a type
 "defect" and cc the ace ports new maintainer.
