Comment:

 --enable-lto was added in r88802, but #32863 indicates that it should only
 have been added for x86_64, at least in 4.5. That has been corrected for
 gcc45 in r90572. Someone should probably test gcc46 and gcc47.

 That just leaves --enable-plugin, which has not been added. But presumably
 the dragonegg ports work, so is it really needed?
