New description:
While trying to install mkvtoolnix I get and error:
{{{
sudo port install mkvtoolnix
---> Computing dependencies for mkvtoolnix
---> Building mkvtoolnix
Error: Target org.macports.build returned: shell command failed (see log
for details)
Log for mkvtoolnix is at:
/opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_multimedia_mkvtoolnix/mkvtoolnix/main.log
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
To report a bug, see <http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets>
}}}
I've looked at ticket #30304, which seems like the same error, and says
it's fixed, but I'm having trouble. It talked about a segmentation fault,
I don't see mention of that in my error log.
Tail end of my error log (full log attached):
{{{
:info:build 7 warnings and 2 errors generated.
:info:build shell command " cd
"/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_multimedia_mkvtoolnix/mkvtoolnix/work/mkvtoolnix-5.0.1"
&& ./drake default -j4 " returned error 1
:error:build Target org.macports.build returned: shell command failed (see
log for details)
:debug:build Backtrace: shell command failed (see log for details)
while executing
"command_exec build"
(procedure "portbuild::build_main" line 8)
invoked from within
"$procedure $targetname"
:info:build Warning: the following items did not execute (for mkvtoolnix):
org.macports.activate org.macports.build org.macports.destroot
org.macports.install
:notice:build Log for mkvtoolnix is at:
/opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_multimedia_mkvtoolnix/mkvtoolnix/main.log
}}}
I've tried with LLVM (configure.compiler=llvm-gcc-4.2); no difference
Xcode 4.3 has been installed via the app store, xcode-select set to that
app.

Comment:
#30304 does not appear to be related. Rather, I believe this is a
duplicate of #33555, which I just fixed. Please wait 30 minutes, then
"sudo port clean mkvtoolnix", "sudo port selfupdate", and try again.
