Comment:

 * We'd like to use rmd160 and sha256 checksums types.
  * /opt/local should not be hardcoded; use ${prefix}.
  * There should not be a "/" before ${prefix} because ${prefix} already
 begins with a "/".
  * Why make hard links in post-destroot? Why not symlinks, with "ln -s"? I
 am not certain that hardlinks survive the destroot process in the current
 version of MacPorts; I know that they did not used to. I also know they do
 not survive a Time Machine backup.
