 FYI, I have reproduced this under fink as well using llvm-gcc-4.2, clang
 and gcc-fsf-4.6[[BR]]
 under Mac OS X 10.7.3 and Xcode 4.3.1. Upstream claims the shell.test
 binary runs fine [[BR]]
 and produced the correct output.
