 If you just installed MacPorts 2, and there was no previous MacPorts
 installation on this system, then there would be nothing to uninstall or
 upgrade.

 If you're having trouble building apache2, let's see what it's doing.
 "sudo port clean apache2" and "sudo port -d install apache2" and see where
 it stops; send us the output.
