Comment:

 Yeah, I'm seeing the same thing on Lion/64 regardless of whether --enable-
 asm is used or not.

 This sounds like http://rt.openssl.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=2771 (use
 guest/guest to log in) which suggests it might be a problem with the
 servers rather than openssl -- but we may still want to consider going
 back to 1.0.0 anyway.
