New description:
Hi, I'd really appreciate a port of the Perl module
"DateTime::Format::ICal".
I tried following the instructions on the Wiki page "howto/cpan2port", but
to no avail. I've generated a portfile, but it fails with this error:
{{{
$ port build
Warning: MacPorts running without privileges. You may be unable to
complete certain actions (e.g. install).
---> Computing dependencies for p5-datetime-format-ical
Error: Dependency 'p5.12-datetime-format-ical' not found.
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
To report a bug, see <http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets>
}}}
In case it helps, I've attached the portfile that I generated with
cpan2port.
I'd appreciate a port, of course, but also any pointers on what I did
wrong when trying to port it myself. I'd happily contribute any
(successful) port if I run into another Perl module in the future.
