 The company Apple has nothing to do with it. MacPorts is an independent
 open-source project; we're not paid to work on it, so we do what we can
 and what we're interested in in our spare time. Sometimes that means some
 things don't get fixed, if there's nobody sufficiently motivated to fix a
 particular problem.
