Comment:

 If you care about gcc47 and gcc48 working on powerpc, please file bugs
 with GNU.  I don't think any MP developers care about working on a fix for
 that issue.

 gcc4[78] "fixed" with r93033.

 Please file a separate issue for gcc42 once you've figured out the
 problem.
