 Can you clarify - which files? I can then take a look.
 The only ones from /usr/local I see being referenced within CMakeCache.txt
 are a few from /usr/local/bin
 Path on the machine is fairly ordinary:

 {{{
 PATH=/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11/bin

 }}}

 interfere with MacPorts?
 'Pallet' is installed but rarely used.
