Comment:

 shout.pc does get installed on my system. I don't see why it's not getting
 installed on yours. Set "keep_logs yes" in your macports.conf and rebuild
 the port ("sudo port -ns upgrade --force libshout2") and if it still
 doesn't have shout.pc, attach the log file to this ticket ("port logfile
 libshout2" will show you where it is).
