 I'm attaching my main.log file created on OS X 10.6.8 x86_64 with Xcode
 3.2.6 using
 {{{
 sudo port clean mysql55
 sudo port build mysql55 -universal configure.ccache=no build.jobs=1
 }}}
 Bradley, if you do the same on your system where it works, it should be
 easier to diff the two logs.
