 The current Portfile and patches require building with MacPorts' atlas.
 This set of patches preserves the ability to build against Apple's
 libraries instead by specifying "-atlas" to de-select the default variant.
 The location of the ATLAS library is specified in the link line so the
 problem building on Lion should be addressed here also.
