 On a Mac running OSX 1.8.2 with XCode 4.5.2 and the command line tools
 installed, I attempted to install ncview 2.1.1.  I had previously
 installed netCDF and ncview (version 1.9.3?) successfully, and came across
 the problem while upgrading my macports.  NetCDF (a prerequisite) 4.2.1.1
 installed with no problem, but ncview failed during configuration because
 it couldn't find the "right" compiler.  The failing log is attached.
 Following the instructions provided in the log did not fix the problem.
