 Do you in fact have
 /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Headers/Carbon.h? I don't have
 10.8, but on 10.7 it's installed by "com.apple.pkg.DevSDKLeo" according to
 pkgutil, which sounds like part of Xcode.
