 Hi, yes I did notice that after I sent my comment. So, I tried installing
 apple-gcc42 and just gcc42 with the following outcome:

 {{{
 --->  Building gcc42
 Error: org.macports.build for port gcc42 returned: command execution
 failed
 Please see the log file for port gcc42 for details:
 /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_lang_gcc42/gcc42/main.log
