Comment:

 Ok, I was able to reproduce the error on Leopard. It seems mongodb doesn't
 like gcc 4.0. I was able to build it on Leopard with gcc 4.2. So this
 should be fixed for Leopard in r98291. For Tiger we could investigate
 using apple-gcc-4.2 but I haven't done so yet.
