 Yes, it's probably normal for ghc to take hours to compile on a 2 GHz
 computer. Please wait longer.

 We will eventually have a Mountain Lion buildbot which should eliminate
 the need for you to compile many of the ports yourself. See #35397. We
 already have buildbots for Snow Leopard and Lion.
