 So there are at least two different problems here. The one yeli.feng
 reported I don't know what to do about. The whole octave situation in
 MacPorts is somewhat neglected and out of date and is in need of someone
 taking charge of it and updating and fixing it all. The problem
 barry.j.mcinnes reported is the usual incompatibility with libpng 1.5,
 which might resolve itself by updating octave-image to a newer version, or
 we might have to patch it like we've patched other ports.
