 It is declared as a dependency, and MacPorts should have installed it.
 Can't explain why it did not.

 Indeed that server is offline, and you have a [wiki:MisbehavingServers
 "helpful" DNS server] that turns that usually harmless problem into an
 inconvenient situation. Let me investigate...
