 Hello,

 The attached patch fixes the build with the following variants:

 {{{
 +buffy +compress
 +nntp
 +compress
 }}}

 Currently mutt depends on AM_C_PROTOTYPES, which has been removed in newer
 automake versions. That's why I changed the Portfile to depend and re-
 generate with an older automake version.
