 You've coded the port to fetch from their Subversion repository revision
 3379. This appears to be the 2.5 release. (2.5 was tagged in 3378 and 3379
 just updates the web page to reference that version.) So is there any
 reason why we're not fetching from the 2.5 source tarball, which we would
 greatly prefer over fetching from Subversion?
