 Please note that gdk-pixbuf is an old essentially obsolete port designed
 to be used with the old gtk1 port series.

 gdk-pixbuf2 is the correct port to use with gtk2.  So unless you need to
 support an old gtk1 only package, you're probably installing
 the wrong port.
