 This might very well fix my octave-devel problem [ticket:36103], but I
 don't understand how to apply the patch to gcc45. How does one apply it? I
 see the schema
   %% patch -p0 < ~/Downloads/Portfile-postfix.diff
 Would something like this work with the g45 patch?
