 Can I ask, how long is reasonable to expect before an should update come
 though ?
 I ask since revision 4 is stilll the latest I get for gcc47

 --->  Updating the ports tree
 The following installed ports are outdated:
 gcc47                          4.7.1_2 < 4.7.1_4
 gcc48                          4.8-20120826_0 < 4.8-20120909_2
 }}}

 even though a update to gcc47 revision 6 was committed a while back now.
