It'll take a while, but that might work -- I haven't seen rev-bumps in
gcc4X ports, which might be required to get the new gcc changes they're
making in place (or, might not; I'm no gcc expert).
Thanks for the advice, Michael. I think I'll hold off on the uninstalling
for a while. Both libstdcxx and gcc45 were updated on my system this
morning---and that took quite a while. Apparently this stuff is still
changing [ticket:35770].
