 Since wxWidgets has issues builting with Xcode 4.4 I suggest switching
 back the wxWidgets dependency to a port: one and checking the registry for
 an active wxWidgets-devel, if there's one that fallback on that editing
 supported_archs.

 This way the port can be build 64 bits on modern systems while still
 supporting 2.8 wxWidgets.
