 Macports won't install lilypond under OS X 10.7 or 10.8 because older
 versions of lilypond where not fully working (command line was, but not
 the Mac-specific GUI). As stated on Lilypond website (and tested from
 lilypond pre-compiled binaires), 2.16 is fully working with these OS X
 versions

 lilypond-devel has not that limitation
