 It builds fine for me on 10.8.1 with Xcode 4.4.1.

 Since you mention having just migrated from Lion to Mountain Lion, have
 you performed the wiki:Migration steps? Reinstalled latest Xcode ''and''
 its command line tools? Reinstalled MacPorts? Reinstalled all ports?
