#38732: gcc48 is broken by configure-timespec.patch
------------------------+--------------------

      Type:  defect     |     Status:  closed
  Priority:  Normal     |  Milestone:
 Component:  ports      |    Version:  2.1.3
Resolution:  fixed      |   Keywords:
      Port:  gcc48      |

Comment (by howarth@…):

 Note that current libstdc++ subport of gcc47 is lacking the emutls symbols
 which means that the test.cc testcase can't be compiled with gcc47.[[BR]]
 If you promote the libstdc++-devel in gcc48 to become libstdc++ (and
 remove the libstdc++ subport from gcc47), this issue will[[BR]]
 be solved. The force-static-gcc.patch, which insures that these additional
 symbols are present, is used for libstdc++-devel of gcc48 but not in the
 libstdc++[[BR]]
 of gcc47.
