 IMHO, the attachd Portfile.diff and associated patch is your best bet. It
 simply folds libgcc*dylib from the gcc48 package into the libstdcxx
 subport.[[BR]]
 The other gcc4x packages will need to revision bumped with the
 line...[[BR]]
 [[BR]]
 eval file delete [glob ${destroot}${prefix}/lib/libgcc*][[BR]]
 [[BR]]
 added to their post-destroot.
