 I've rebuilt Mplayer also on 10.4 and reached the same conclusion - llvm
 4.2 and gcc 4.0 are not enough to compile Mplayer 1.1_3.

 I also agree with braumann that requiring this compiler (or apple-gcc
 above 4.2) should be done.
