 Just attempted to build dbus with +no_root and -startupitem and it errored
 out with:

 Error: The DBUS daemon should not be run as root.
 Error: org.macports.fetch for port dbus returned: Please do not use this
 variant with your MacPorts configuration.
 }}}

 Thank you for your help. I will install the pre-built version available on
 their website.
