 Thanks for the response. I've now looked at the TeX Live mailing list, and
 found a similar request there from January of this year. It was rejected
 because of licencing uncertainties, as you suggest, so I'll try to hassle
 the originators at IoP.

 [Apologies for not CC-ing maintainer to begin with; I didn't realise the
 information was available on the port page, nor that the maintainer
 *wasn't* auto-included when the port name was selected in the TRAC field]
