 It would be really nice if at least the download and build phases of a
 package's installation sequence showed a progress bar and/or numeric
 indication of percentage completed.  That might not be easy or even
 possible for the build phase, but it should be easy to show the current %
 of total file size already downloaded during the fetch phase.
