 I'm really really sorry. I should have left more time for testing ... but
 now it is what it is. From what I understand it would be desirable to roll
 back the commit, but I'm leaving very soon and I don't want to do another
 batch of stupid commits just before being cut off internet access for a
 few days. If you feel that the patch does more harm than good, please roll
 it back and also provide feedback to the wxWidgets community.
