 Comments:
 - This looks like it should be in the “math” category, rather than the
 “science” one.
 - Leave out “`revision 0`”, which is the default.
 - Leave out “`use_bzip2 no`”, since Portfiles already default to fetching
 `.tar.gz` files.
 - Leave out the “`worksrcdir`” line, since it already defaults to the
 value of “`distname`”.
 - Leave out “`build.target all`”, which is the default.
 - Add a SHA256 checksum.
 - Add a variant for GCC 4.8, unless the software does not build correctly
 with it.
 - Leave out the “`depends_lib-append`” lines for the compilers, since
 MacPorts 2.2 adds these automatically.
 - Using “`join`”  in the “`build.env-append`” line is redundant. Just
 substitute “`configure.ldflags`” directly.
 - The `reinplace`s that merely swap one bit of static text for another bit
 of static text should be patches instead.
