#40085: py27-rpy2 segfault; fixed by new version
------------------------+--------------------------------
 Reporter:  swinbank@…  |      Owner:  macports-tickets@…
     Type:  defect      |     Status:  new
 Priority:  Normal      |  Milestone:
Component:  ports       |    Version:  2.2.0
 Keywords:              |       Port:  py-rpy
------------------------+--------------------------------
 The (rather old) version 2.2.1 of rpy2 shipped by Macports segfaults on
 import:

 {{{
 $ python
 Python 2.7.5 (default, Aug  1 2013, 01:01:17)
 [GCC 4.2.1 Compatible Apple Clang 4.1 ((tags/Apple/clang-421.11.66))] on
 darwin
 Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
 >>> import rpy2.rinterface
 Segmentation fault: 11
 }}}

 See attached for details.

 The current upstream version 2.3.6 does not have this problem. I attach an
 updated Portfile which bumps the version to 2.3.6.
