 I'm having the same issue here. I've attached my log file in case that
 helps. FYI, I have R running perfectly on one machine. I installed some
 weeks ago. I did a {{{ port upgrade }}} last night with no issue. The log
 is from another machine that was fresh with no attempt to install R prior
 to last night. The difference between the two that stood out to me is that
 the first machine was using macport 2.1.x and the new machine 2.2.x at the
 time I tried to install R.
