 Is any original contributor (Jens?) still following this and interested?
 Are there any particular "feature requests" that I left out? The initial
 port was relatively complicated and I still didn't analyze it to see
 whether I forgot something obvious.

 The spellchecker might need some testing (I didn't check how to enable it
 yet).
