 I noticed that for both binary and source installs of MacVim the python
 variant does not work. When trying to compile with +python27 I see the
 following in the debug output:

 checking Python is 1.4 or better... yep
 checking Python's install prefix...
 /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7
 checking Python's execution prefix...
