 Or temporary deactivate the gcc provided by macports, install erlang and
 activate gcc again:

 $ sudo port -f deactivate <gccXX>
 $ sudo port install erlang
 $ sudo port activate <gccXX>
 }}}
 Use
 {{{
 $ port provides /opt/local/bin/gcc
 }}}
 to find out {{{<gccXX>}}}
