 Here are the patches which should disable the use of checkXML during the
 test phase, while retaining the other tests, directly related to poxml.
 The patch to the Portfile has been made from version 4.11.4, which is the
 present one, and not 4.11.2, from which this ticket originated (but the
 issue is the same).

 If these do not work, it would also be possible to just remove the tests
 from the build process, but this should be ok.
