Comment (by ctreleaven@…):

I think I know what is going on but I haven't experienced this before.
Your logs contain the following warning:

:warn:archivefetch Your DNS servers incorrectly claim to know the address
of nonexistent hosts. This may cause checksum mismatches for some ports.

I think you're actually getting an empty file when you try to fetch the
MythTV source. I don't know how that is getting past the checksum stage.
If that is the problem, we can bypass it by putting the file where
MacPorts expects it. First, though, clean up your previous attempts with

  sudo port clean --all mythtv-core.27

I've put the necessary file on my DropBox:

 https://www.dropbox.com/l/xYF4pyy4yLyZLoUWT4b7d9

In the Distfiles folder, you'll find an 85.9 MB file that contains all the
source code to MythTV. Download it and move it, as it is, into

  /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/mythtv-core.27

Now attempt the install again. If that doesn't work, I've placed a copy
of the compiled MythTV system (46.5 MB file) on my DropBox as well, in the
Software folder. It would need to be downloaded and placed in:

  /opt/local/var/macports/software/mythtv-core.27

Again, attempt the install. I may not have time to look in here for a
couple of days--hope this solves your problem.
