 I think this is probably irrelevant since the current version of evince is
 now 3.10.3.  Please update your ports tree if you haven't already and if
 you have any problems with the current version, submit a new ticket with
 the appropriate details.

 Since the new port works well for me, I am closing this ticket with that
 status.
