 When I tried to download and compile this package myself, I ran into a
 similar issue:

 utils.cpp:69:14: error: use of undeclared identifier 'atof'; did you mean
 'stof'?
             alpha = atof(argv[++i]);
                     ^~~~
                     stof

 I don't know what's causing this. This seems to be related to a VNC bug
 that was just resolved.
